Kaylene McDonald - President

Kaylene McDonald serves as a Member of the Governing Board and has served on the Governing Board since 2014. Ms. McDonald is currently a Managing Partner of Mountain West Enterprises, LLC, a property management company. Previously, Ms. McDonald served as a secondary education business education instructor at Kuna High School in Kuna, Idaho. Ms. McDonald received her bachelor's degree in entrepreneurial management from Boise State University. She also received her Idaho Education Credential from the University of Idaho.

Joel Taylor - Vice President

Joel Taylor has served on the Board since May 2015. He joined the board because he enjoyed what he saw as a parent with what the school is doing and going forward wanted to help see it continue to grow. He is married with two children that attend IACS. He graduated from Southwestern Illinois College with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Law. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Air Force for 10 great years seeing all parts of the world. After the the military he settled down in Idaho where he has lived for 12 years. Joel currently works in the crop logistics field. He enjoys camping with his family, riding motorcycles and the occasional trip to the coast.

Heather Neubauer - Secretary

Heather Neubauer is a mother of five beautiful girls ranging in ages from 7 to 17. Her oldest daughter has attended IACS since its first year and the rest of her children have gone to the school since they have been of age. She currently works from home as a Software QA Specialist and Technical Writer for a small company in Boise called Behavior Imaging Solutions. Heather has lived in the city of Nampa her entire life. Some of her hobbies include hiking in the mountains of Idaho, reading books of the thriller genre, and creating cakes that look as good as they taste. While she loves these activities, her all time favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.

Michael Kuhn - Member

Michael Kuhn joined the IACS Board in 2018, although he and his wife, Crystal, have been involved since the beginning of IACS. Crystal was on the Idaho Arts Charter development committee in 2004, helping to write the charter and develop the concept and direction of the school, as well as being on the first IACS board for many years. Michael did the build out and set the portables for the original school location located on 12th Ave Road in 2005. Michael and Crystal have been married for over 30 years and have 4 children, all of whom have attended or are attending IACS. Michael enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, camping, traveling and doing an occasional play with Music Theater of Idaho.
Michael is a general contractor, homebuilder and remodeler and is the owner of Treasure Valley Remodel and Restoration and Treasure Valley Building Company.

Ron Hill - Treasurer

Ron is the newest member of the board at IACS. Ron served in the US Army for 8 years where he was stationed in Germany and Hattiesburg, MS. Upon leaving the military he started a career in retail management that has spanned the last 22 years. Ron works for Retail Merchandising Solutions INC. as a Field Supervisor and manages the operational processes for Albertson’s in seven states. He is married to Marla and together they have seven children ages 5 to 30 one of which currently attends IACS. Outside of work Ron is a pastor for a local church where he and his wife serve with a focus on marriage and family. When time allows he enjoys, camping, hunting, fishing and golfing.

Stephan Bosch-Member

Stephan joined the Board in January 2020. After graduating he joined Microsoft in Dublin, Ireland and after about a decade there, he switched careers and entered the Food Industry. Stephan currently works for Acosta Inc, where he is a Category Analytics Manager.
He is married to Leslie Jay, a photographer and sculptor, and together they have two daughters, both of whom attend IACS.
In his spare time, Stephan enjoys playing guitar in an Irish ensemble in Boise's pubs, plays chess, likes to travel, solve sudoku or play board games with his daughters.

Jeff Gunstream - Member
Jeff joined the IACS Board in October of 2021. He originally arrived in Idaho in 1992, attending NNC. After pursuing the arts in California, he found his way back to Idaho. He, his wife Chelsi, and their kids have been a part of the Music Theatre of Idaho, performing and teaching, since 2003. They are proud parents of 2 graduates of IACS and still have one attending currently. Jeff currently works for Scentsy Home Office with the Events and Training team as a Videographer. Jeff relishes every moment with his family, whether on Family Game Night with everyone or playing video games and watching Marvel movies with his daughter. Jeff is a patron of the arts, whether music, the stage, a slab of clay, or on a canvas and is happiest when creating something others can enjoy as well.
