Academies

Idaho Arts Charter School seeks to inspire students and develop artistic talents, attitudes and skills in students, promoting lifelong avocation in arts areas. The school seeks to develop an educated citizenry for the 21st century through academic programs, centered around a diverse arts curriculum, using focused investigations.

Through a curriculum based heavily in music, drama, visual arts and dance, students will gain skills and abilities by developing the habits of lifelong learning, curiosity, clear oral and written communication, creative thinking, effective use of technology as a tool, adaptability to new situations and new information, and problem-solving skills. Instruction will be well grounded in Idaho Standards including the basics of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies with the arts integrated through out these standards.
