Hello. My name is Anne VanderVeen and I am looking forward to my first year here at the Idaho Arts Charter School. I am teaching Physical Science and Geometry in the high school grades. I hope to explore these subjects through the arts. I love math and science and want my students to become excited about them also.
I have spent the last two years teaching at Treasure Valley Math and Science Center in Boise. Previous to that I taught for 8 years at Nampa Christian High School. I also teach Mathematics at Boise State University.
I have lived in the Treasure Valley for 23 years and have been married for 28 years. We have four children (2 boys and 2 girls). The oldest two are married. The youngest is 17 and she has two years of high school left. I also have three grandsons and another grandchild to arrive soon.
