Hi. My name is Judi Sather. I will be teaching the Resource class at IACS. I have taught Special Education for 17 years, in various areas of Special education. Language Development, Severe and Profound, Special Day Class, Extended Resource, Resource and a very short time in 8th grade general education.
I moved up here from Southern California (the true desert part! Less than 2 inches of rain a year!) 5 years ago. I have my BA in psychology, a teaching credential in elementary education, a learning handicapped teaching credential, Resource Credential and a Masters in Education. Between graduating from college and going back to get my teaching credential, I programmed computers for 6 years, had children, and taught hand crafts.
I have sung for longer than I would like to admit. I took voice lessons for 10 years, and piano for 10. I toured Europe and Japan with a semi-professional choir, have sung with the Roger Wagner Chorale, and in various Opera companies.
I live in Nampa with my daughter who plays tenor sax with Nampa High. My son is in the Coast Guard and stationed in Portland. We have 2 dogs 4 cats and 10 chickens who are clowns. |
