Hi, my name is Kellsie Kater and I am going to be teaching 1st/2nd Grade at IACS this year! I graduated from Boise State University last December with my BA in Elementary Education. I also have a full reading endorsement for K-12. I am so excited to be working at IACS this year. I think it will be a great learning experience for all involved. I feel very privileged to be a part of something so wonderful. I was born in Nampa and lived there until I was 12. After that, my family moved to Kennewick, Washington where I graduated from high school and attended college at Columbia Basin Community College and Washington State University the Tri-City Campus. I am now living in Boise with my husband James.
Art is a great passion of mine. I enjoy photography, scrap booking, other crafts like sewing, traveling, writing, and reading. Reading is one of my absolute favorite things and I am most happy when surrounded by lots of books. I love drama and enjoy going to plays and movies. I am thrilled to be a part of this school and I am looking forward to meeting everyone soon! |
