Idaho Arts Charter School
Andi Arnold - 5th/6th Grade Teacher

Welcome to Idaho Arts Charter School! My name is Andi Arnold and I am so excited to be a part of the IACS family. This is my third year teaching 5th/6th grade at IACS. I believe that our mission of incorporating the arts into the curriculum will allow students to learn through their own creativity and to expand learning outside of the classroom. I am full of fresh ideas for teaching and learning through the arts.

I was born and raised in a small town in Wyoming.  I moved to Idaho eleven years ago.  I worked in the business world for a few years and then decided it was time to follow my heart.  I had a very inspirational teacher growing up and I always wanted to be like her.  Unfortunately she passed away and at that moment  I decided it was time to continue her legacy.  If I can be 1/3 of the teacher she was then I am doing wonderful things.  I attended Boise State University to get my teaching degree.  I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education.  While doing my student teaching I met another inspirational teacher named Jen Lund.  She led me to IACS and introduced me to the school‘s vision.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach at IACS.  I am so eager to see what we can do as a school this year!  I am amazed every day by my students and their talent .

My husband and I live in Meridian with our  daughters Hailey and Katie.  I love teaching, boating, reading, technology and photography. I look forward to having a wonderful year!
